Hukum Nama

Hukum Nama acts as a symbol for a vibrant religious community and acts as a magnet as people pass-by to the large-scale monument. The hukum nama acts as a gazebo or space to pause. This enables the community to mark it as a micro-landmark and gather for various activities. The project was non-profit consultation and was developed in collaboration with the community.

Furthermore, the material used for construction is environmentally sustainable regained from saw-dust, used-cork and similar waste. This required a deep understanding of material behaviour which led to development of construction techniques and joinery details.
